Getting Started
Dashboard
View all your papers, track progress, and access quick actions from the Dashboard.
The Dashboard is your home screen after signing in. It gives you an overview of all your papers and quick access to common actions.
Accessing the dashboard
Click Dashboard in the left sidebar navigation, or go to /dashboard directly.
Overview cards
The top of the dashboard shows summary statistics:
| Card | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Total Papers | Number of papers you've created |
| In Progress | Papers currently being drafted or revised |
| Completed | Papers marked as accepted or finished |
| Collaborations | Papers shared with you plus papers you've shared with others |
Recent papers
Below the stats, your most recent papers are listed with:
- Paper title
- Last modified date
- Current status (drafting, under review, revisions requested, accepted, etc.)
- Quick Open action to jump into the editor
Quick actions
The dashboard provides shortcuts to common tasks:
- New Paper — Create a new project (blank, AI-guided, or from template)
- Browse Templates — Open the Template Gallery
- Import from arXiv — Import an existing paper from arXiv
Paper status
Each paper has a status that tracks where it is in the publication lifecycle:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Drafting | Initial writing phase |
| Under Review | Submitted to a journal; awaiting reviewer feedback |
| Revisions Requested | Reviewer feedback received; revisions in progress |
| Accepted | Paper accepted for publication |
| Rejected | Paper rejected (can be revised and resubmitted) |
